Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Phoenix and its features. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy before using an account or connecting external services.
1. Using Phoenix
Phoenix is an AI assistant offering chat, content, search, media and optional connected-service tools. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Read the Privacy Policy for information about how your data is processed.
Phoenix AI Amber is the name of the AI service in Phoenix. The service relies on external processing providers identified in the Privacy Policy; the name does not mean that Phoenix owns the underlying foundation models or that external providers do not process your data. Their terms and limits continue to apply.
2. Your account and permissions
You are responsible for protecting your account and keeping sign-in links and codes private. Do not use another person’s account without permission.
Google sign-in uses only your basic profile. A Google sign-in option does not mean that Google has verified or endorsed Phoenix.
3. AI accuracy and important decisions
Phoenix may produce incorrect, incomplete or outdated information. Verify results and sources before relying on them. Responses are not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice and should not be the sole basis for high-risk decisions.
Review reminder dates and times. Notifications and reminders depend on your device, browser, permissions, battery settings and connection; delivery at a specific time is not guaranteed, and some phones delay or block notifications for apps that are force-stopped or battery-restricted.
Selecting Done on a reminder notification marks that reminder completed only after the server accepts the action; it does not verify that you performed the real-world task. Actions require connectivity and may expire. Goals, study material and proactive messages are assistance tools, not supervision or guarantees of achievement. Read-aloud may mispronounce words, and extracted or AI-interpreted text in images and documents may be inaccurate; check it against the original.
When enabled, Phoenix may send automatic follow-ups after you leave a conversation and occasional proactive messages. These are AI-generated, limited in number and can be disabled at any time in Settings.
Video summaries, image interpretation, search-based answers and interactive quiz feedback can miss details, misidentify content or provide incorrect answers. Neither saved memory nor semantic retrieval guarantees complete recall. Live proposals for reminders or goals require your visible confirmation; unconfirmed proposals are not saved as those actions.
4. Your content and sharing
You retain your rights in content you submit and authorize its processing, storage and transfer to service providers as necessary to deliver the requested features, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to submit the files and information you use.
You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing or publishing it. Generated outputs are not guaranteed to be unique or free of third-party rights, and similar outputs may be generated for others. Anyone who obtains a conversation sharing link may be able to read that conversation, including its shared media. Revoking a link cannot recall copies already obtained.
Unsent text drafts may remain on your device after signing out. They are a convenience, not a backup or a guarantee of recovery; they do not synchronize across devices or restore attachments. Avoid sensitive drafts on shared devices and clear local storage when appropriate.
5. Prohibited use
Do not use Phoenix for fraud, impersonation, privacy or intellectual-property violations, unlawful content, unauthorized access to accounts or systems, or attempts to access another user’s data. Do not submit passwords, secret keys or sensitive information unnecessary for your request.
6. Availability and third-party services
The service is provided as available. Features may change or become unavailable because of maintenance, outages or changes by AI providers, Google or other services. Third-party terms apply to their services. We do not guarantee ongoing availability of any integration or acceptance of every generation request.
Video analysis requires signing in and selecting a supported strong model. The current per-video upload limit is 30 MiB; supported formats, total request limits and available provider capacity may further restrict requests. Audio analysis and playback depend on the file and device. Text-to-speech streams progressively, but an immediate start or uninterrupted playback is not guaranteed.
Spotify remote playback requires the permissions, account eligibility (including Premium where required) and an available Spotify device required by Spotify. A successful connection or search does not guarantee playback; a link may instead open Spotify for you to play the item there. Opening YouTube, TikTok or another external link is subject to that service's terms and does not guarantee full access to its video or audio.
Supported Android builds use Spotify App Remote to control the installed Spotify app after authorization, without requiring you to open it manually for every request. Installation, sign-in, developer approval, account eligibility and device restrictions still apply; first-time consent may open Spotify, and force-stopped or unavailable apps may require manual recovery. A pending command is not confirmation of playback. Phoenix does not host Spotify audio or bypass Spotify subscription or platform restrictions.
The Android app loads the published Phoenix website. Published website changes can therefore reach existing installations without a new APK; changes to native Android permissions, resources or capabilities may require installing a newer signed APK. Downloading a new APK alone does not make unpublished website changes available.
7. Liability and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the service is error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, and are not responsible for harm arising from reliance on unverified outputs or information you voluntarily publish. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Stopping use and changes to these terms
You may stop using Phoenix, sign out, disconnect services and revoke notification permission. For account data deletion, see the Privacy Policy and contact us. These terms may change as the service evolves; the latest revision date appears above.
